A commonly used antiviral drug that's already used to fight hepatitis C and HIV could also be used to treat 30 per cent of cancer types, according to a new study conducted on patients in Canada.

As a clinical trial patient myself, I wholeheartedly recommend joining in one if you have the opportunity. Always fully understand any treatments you're offered (on or off trial). I was told I would have equal or better treatment on the trial and I definitely received better.
